'Allo Kiddies,

Thought I'd let you know who's playing The Full Moon Music Club @ The Commplex, 39-40 Commercial St, Leith) next Thursday, the 11th March.

Get along early and catch The Flares, Scotland’s funkiest white soul band. Their version of “I Heard It Through The Grapevine” is stunning. They are onstage at 8.30, so get your booties down by then.
Electra is giving us some more of her songs, this time accompanied by Jimmy Miller on guitar.

Then it’s hip-hop from Dunfermline, in the shape of a duo called Quantam Ho Ho.
Graystar, Creeper and Hollowpoint all play guitar-based indie rock, and we’re not talking Smiths or Radiohead here!

The evening is rounded off by Rosie Bell from FRAK giving us some songs on her keyboards, possibly aided and abetted by me on vocals(?) and/or drums. If she can get me drunk enough!

Remember, The Flares are onstage really early, but they sure are worth making an effort to hear.

You can get there by bus, (35, 22, 16), just jump off two stops after The Water Of Leith.

As always (or at least every fortnight!), it's free, and runs from 8 til late.  See you down there!
Cheers,
Fritz
